One year ago today the world lost an amazing young man, musician, and my friend since kindergarten because of a hostile dorm environment. The wounds are as fresh as ever today as we mark the one year anniversary of his death. The court trial has commenced and all of the new information is overwhelming. Today as I, many of my peers, and his family mourn and try to cope with a death that became international news, an example of LGBTQ bullying, and the catalyst for new legislation in NJ and nationwide.
All I ask is that you make smart decisions. Sometimes things hurt others more than you could ever know and you do not know what people are going through and suppressing to the public. One indecent action could be all it takes to push someone literally over the edge. RIP Tyler <3 Your melodies play on in the heart of those who love you <3 "Make it stop,
Let this end. This life chose me, I'm not lost in sin. But proud I stand of who I am, I plan to go on living." Miss you Tyler, hope you are resting well <3 Live = Let Live Movement http://www.facebook.com/pages/Live-L...79402865439290 |

I'm sorry for your loss. I'm glad that you are using the site (TH) to remember him. Consider doing something nice for yourself. have a bath, read a good book, enjoy a mug of hot chocolate, anything. Just be kind to yourself during this grieving process, and cherish his memory.
