Shes gone. :(

I lost my "grandmother" (family friend, my best friend) to liver cancer on Monday night (I think). She lives in another state so I can't even attend her funeral. She called me on Sunday and her last words to me were "and I love you, honey." I miss her so much I wish I could turn on my computer and see an email from her... but I never will again. I can't cope with death. Especially this one. She was old but she was my best friend. The only one besides my boyfriend and TH that knew about my miscarriage and abusive ex. I shared my secrets, she shared hers. I miss her. I was going to visit her this summer. Now I can't. Ill never see her again, or hear her little voice.

Thiis isn't making sense. I just... really need some support.

Hey Brittany, I know how it feels to lose a grandparent - however I wasn't close to mine.

I am really sorry to hear that you lost a grandmother, a friend, and a listener. Your grandmother has had a very long life - and seems to be successful aswell. Unfortunately as you know we all lose those we love. But remember how you use to tell her secrets? And just love being around her? The good news is that you still can tell her things - and she still is around you. Whenever you are hurt, and just feel like crumbling into a million pieces, just talk to her, I'm sure she will listen. I'm sure that she will bring you alot more happiness and good things in the future.

If you ever need to talk - I am always here to listen.

Oh sweetie. I'm sorry this happened, and I'm sorry I didn't see this earlier.
Death is hard to deal with, especially with somebody you were so close to. I've never lost anyone that close to me (and I am so grateful for that), so I won't pretend I know what you're going through. But I am here if you want to talk; you know I'm a good listener, and I do care about you. <3
