Smile GIRLS THIS IS A MUST-HAVE! - March 26th 2015, 06:25 AM

Hi there
This post isn't about me asking you for advice and droning on about my boring life, but giving you guys advice. I really don't know why I didn't think of this before, but anyway I have now. When I was 13 my mum gave me a book specially for teen girls entitled "Body Drama", by Nancy Amanda Redd. It is the best. It's really well written, it talks about practically all issues that one can come across in her teens, such as cellulite, infected piercings, having huge breasts, having no breasts, being digusted by the way you look down there, period cramps... the list goes on and on. Another eason why this book is so good is that at the end of the book it demonstrates how models can easily airbrushed and how fake it is, and there are even photographs of real naked women at the back to show us how we should really look.

Honestly I think all young women should have this book, it's definitely worth checking out!

Anyway, I hope you'll find this helpful!

This books sounds lovely! You've mentioned all the things that I've struggled with as an adolescent and I'll definitely check this out soon. It is really validating to read something that captures your feelings. Thank you so much for sharing this!
