Sci-Fi book suggestions? - March 6th 2016, 12:15 PM

I've just finished reading 'Moon is a Harsh Mistress' and 'Stranger in a Strange Land' by Heinlein and am looking for similar books that could capture my imagination.

Basically, anything that has ties to reality and space, potentially with a mix of political fiction, and I want it.

Any suggestions?

Ancillary justice. It's a trilogy and that's the first book.
Oryx and Crake (Maddaddam trilogy)

I haven't read either of these but my boyfriend is reading the first one and girls in my book club read the other. Not sure if they are what you are looking for but they are supposed to be good.

A little obscure but 'Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep' by Phillip K. Dick and '2001: A Space Odyssey' by Arthur C. Clarke.

You could also check out H.G. Well's 'The War of the Worlds'. He also wrote other sci-fi books that might be worth checking out too.
