Annie on my mind - May 25th 2017, 04:31 PM

I've been reading this book called Annie on my mind which is a fiction story of a romantic relationship between two 17 year old girls.
I don't mind this sort of thing it doesn't matter who the love is between but some of these (romance stories in general) get tedious. I really like how this one is done though with what I've read so far. I don't know how you'd get it though as it was amazon but not now

I'm glad you seem to be enjoying the book! I agree that romance stories can get a bit cliche from time to time, so I'm hoping this book continues to approach things from a different angle so you can keep enjoying the read!

wanderlust consumed her;
foreign hearts & exotic minds compelled her.
she had a gypsy soul

I find that romance stories can be a bit boring after a while too, just like films I suppose. They're often quite predictable and follow very similar conventions. That being said, I'm glad you're enjoying this one!

another thing I should point out (because of your comment, in fact) is there's only so much a book can get across, but if it was a film, i'd bet it would get things across like this.
It's called Annie on my mind, so the girl, Liza, isn't always with Annie, but is sometimes just going about her own life. She does think about her new love interest, though, a lot - she can't help it.
I can imagine how it would show us.
