Inside the mind of an author - March 10th 2010, 03:38 AM

I've heard people say that a mind of an author is a strange place, and I for one would like to see it. So...if you could "get inside the mind" of any author, which one would it be?

Personally, I'd chose Stephen King, things would be so twisted in there- I'd love it!

You're amazing just the way you are

I'd choose Stephen King or J.K Rowling.

And I'm going to go ahead and move this over to the Literature forum as I think it fits better there.

Chuck Palahniuk for sure. ^^ The guy's a genius, and I'm anxiously awaiting the 4th of May... his newest book is scheduled to be released then.

Tolkien, Pullman, Dawkins, Hawking.

The atoms that make up you and me were born in the hearts of suns many times greater than ours, and in time our atoms will once again reside amongst the stars. Life is but an idle dalliance of the cosmos, frail, and soon forgotten. We have been set adrift in an ocean whose tides we are only beginning to comprehend and with that maturity has come the realization that we are, at least for now, alone. In that loneliness, it falls to us to shine as brightly as the stars from which we came.
