The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Scarred and The Bell Jar.
Prozac nation has to be the book I've related to the most, though, It sounds like I could've been the author - however, I didn't like that.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower and The Kite Runner (Didn't exactly ''relate'' to characters in the latter but I felt strongly about them.)

I could really relate to the character struggling with self harm and an eating disorder in the book Handle With Care by Jodi Picoult. Even though I've never had an eating disorder, there were many other emotions she dealt with that I could relate to.

Also, the book Willow by an author whose name I can't remember.

I never heard of The Perks of being a Wallflower until I just looked it up and read what it was about, now I can understand how some of you could relate to it. I'm really looking forward to reading myself [:

The Five People You Meet in Heaven. I wouldnt say that i could relate to the characters, but this book did make me view life and death in a whole new way. it made me appreciate my life more and the people who have helped me in anyway.

YES! I should have mentioned this one in my post. That book changed the way I thought about a lot of things.

Have you read his book Tuesdays With Morrie? That changed me even more so.

Criss Cross by Lynne Rae Perkins. I read it the first time 4 years ago and still read it a ton. I've read it probably 10+ times.

The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd. It's my #1 favorite book in the world, and I connect SO much with the main character as well as many of the other characters.

Cut, I'm not sure why but I felt like it could have been me.

To an extent Harry Potter. When I read the last book I get really emotional because of what happens to a lot of the characters who've I've been reading about through the series.

Well I'm really into classics, but anything by Jodi Picoult is great (especially My Sister's Keeper, and The Pact) but you'll cry your eyes out. Also:

Thomas Hardy - Tess of the D'Urbervilles
Sarah Dessen - This Lullaby
Sarah Dessen - Just Listen
Claudia Gray - Evernight
L. J. Smith - The Vampire Diaries
Stephanie Meyer - Twilight
A. M. Vrettos - Skin
M. T. Anderson - Thirsty
J. D. Salinger - The Catcher In The Rye
Mark Haddon - The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time

And Anne Cassidy books
