I need to pick a book for class about... -

So I have to do something for class...
At the end of the semester, I have to write a paper...Surprise...One option I could do is pick an autobiography/biography about a person whos been victimized. I read the book, do some research about that specific type of victimization, then just write about it. It can be any type of victimization. I'm just wondering if anyone here knows of any books like this? I don't read this stuff often. Oh, and it has to be an autobiography/biography that's been written within the past 10 years. |

The first thing that came to my head is Anne Frank and Nelson Mandela.

I'm not 100% sure if this is the kind of thing you mean, but A Child Called "It" or basically any other books that are 'tragic life stories' might be useful to you - there's a lot of them around, too.

I would reccomend "A Child Called It" by Dave Pelzer and "The Glass Castle" by Jeannette Walls.
