Cathy Glass. - March 16th 2011, 06:48 PM

Hey

I was wondering if anyone had read any Cathy Glass books? She writes them about the children she has fostered. The stories are really deep but so inspirational and her passion about both writing and fostering is simply incredible.

I've read cut, damaged and hidden. I'm going to read the girl in the mirror soon too and then order another one of hers.

What do you guys think of them?

Jessie,

I've only read Cut so far but it definitely one of my favourite books. She's a really great writer and I'd love to read Damaged sometime. Cathy Glass is amazing.

Ive read cut, damaged and the saddest girl in the world. I really love her books and her writing, and I like how most of the books end with the child being better or in a better situation.

I want to read it now. Thanks for the suggestion

Have you read the Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls?

It's not about fostering, but it's similarly an inspirational and incredible memoir of a child who learns to pave her road to a successful life in spite of her difficulties.
