Angry This one 'friend' - August 30th 2013, 09:41 AM

I HATE him!! Sometimes he's alright, he's friendly, he's funny... But then he randomly becomes an asshole; teasing me about my weight and saying how unattractive I am, taunting my lifestyle and interests, picking on my family, spreading rumors, and when I finally snap and fight back he tells on me!! Luckily we're in high school now, and the teachers really don't do much in his defense unless it actually looks serious... Which is never. He tells his friends rumors or secrets about me, and really anything he can tease me about. But, it's different with him. With most people bullying me, I can just laugh it off or use my words, but with him I feel so... Violent. I literally want to grab him by the hair, tackle him to the ground and shove a knife down his throat. I want to punch him in the face until he's unconscious. I want to choke him until he's crying and begging me to stop. But why? Why do I feel these urges that I don't feel for anyone else? I don't understand, but I do know that just the thought of him makes me want to physically rip him to shreds...

Hey Alana,
I'm sorry to hear your friend is treating you this way. Have you ever tried telling him about how you feel? Like try talking to him about all the mean things he says to you and the rumors he spreads to other people. You could always tell a teacher or a trusted adult about this- it sounds like he's harassing you! If he still continues to be mean and stuff, I think it's best to let go of this friendship since its really not a friendship. Sure friends tease each other all the time, but there's a boundary to it and he's obviously crossing that boundary. But hey, don't feel bad about these violent urges. It's normal to feel that way, just control yourself and try not to let it get to you. Another thing you could do that might help is tell your parents? Usually in cases like this, parent involvement can really help bring things to an end. Well, I hope this was helpful. Stay strong, and don't let him bring you down!

simple: He's not a true friend. Ignore him. And if he becomes all "buddy buddy" again, ignore him, and walk away. he'll realize what he's done wrong and try to fix it. And basically you'll be saying "f*** you" just.. stay strong. And make sure he doesn't get to you
