Phobia - January 16th 2015, 03:24 PM

I have a growing phobia of school. (( Yes, it exists. )) It pains me tremendously because I want to learn but I can't. My fears are high. In my past school every one was against me. Gangs of people would insult, spit on me, stick chewing gum in my hair or on my clothes. Push me around. They despised me. Loathed me. I can't understand why? It hurt and it still does now. I think, that I am still traumatized with that. And still, in my new school a few boys and the teachers are against me. The boys threw pinecones and small gravel rocks at me. The morning, I am so stressed I get up at 3am to just get ready. Not like I have much personal stuff to prepare. Sometimes I vomit violently. My mom is trying to force me to go, every morning. But I really can't. I'm sick to the stomach, I feel like I'm worthless, a failure and I'll never get far in life...

I know, I know the sun is hot
Mosquitos come suck your blood
Leave you there
All alone
Just skin and bone

When you walk among the trees
Listening to the leaves
The further I go the less I know
The less I know

Where will you run?
Where will you hide?
Lullabies
To paralyze

That seems like a really horrible phobia for you to have to deal with. I can see why you struggle with it after being bullied like that. People bully others for a variety of reasons. Most often, they're not happy with themselves so they pick on others to get a little bit of a high. It can also be from their own upbringing, especially if they live in an unstable home. The bottom line is that people who bully are fighting their own battle but they're coping negatively by bring others down with them. You don't deserve to be treated like that and I'm sorry to hear that you feel like people are against you.

Have you told anyone in school about how you're treated? With all of the controversy around bullying, it can be hard for school faculty to do much even if you have told them. If they don't listen, go to someone of higher authority and so forth.

You must have a lot of anxiety if you're vomiting violently before you go to school. Your well-being has to come first, so I suggest talking to your mom about what's going on if you haven't already and asking her to see a professional if you're able to. You might want to look into other options that are better for your health. I was was removed from school because of bullying and I enrolled in online classes. I create my own schedule and I work at my own pace. I'm more focused and my grades are a lot higher. You might want to look into homeschooling with your mom. Some online schools are relatively inexpensive or close to free. This article might help you out.

You're definitely not a worthless failure. You're so much more than how your classmates make you feel. It might help to make a list of the things you like about yourself or tell yourself these positive things in the mirror to enforce it. You can even decorate your room with positive quotes so you have a nice environment to relax in.

I'm here if you ever need anything.

Hi there, just try to get through school. You can do it. It may be tough. I myself was bullied and hated school. But through time i thought it would be better. it got better. you have to ignore those people and go on with your way. good luck. tip: remember to ignore them. ignoring bullies is the most powerful message. cause they will get no response they will leave you alone.

Hiya,
This seems like a really hard situation for you. Have you tried talking to a family member such as your mum about whats going on? If you haven't, then I would suggest that you do because this would increase your support network and letting your feelings out might help you feel better.
