My First Formspring Experiment- Intro - July 13th 2011, 07:34 PM

Well, mostly hearing about Formspring and its many controversies, I decided to do a few experiments on Formspring. This is my first one. I wanted to actually see if the talk about random people insulting and cyberbullying users on here is true. I've never actually seen this occur but then again I only know a few people who use it. I just registered my first account and crossing my fingers. Wish me the best.

Well, it isn't always random people. I found that it was mostly people from the user's school, anonymously harassing them.

"'Colie, you should never be surprised when people treat you with respect. You should expect it.'
I shook my head. 'You don't know--' I began. But, as usual, she didn't let me finish.
'Yes,' she said simply, 'I do know. I've watched you, Colie. You walk around like a dog waiting to be kicked. And when someone does, you pout and cry like you didn't deserve it.'
'No one deserves to be kicked,' I said.
'I disagree,' she said flatly. 'You do if you don't think you're worth any better...'"

Usually, if you're going to get any kind of abuse on there, it will be from people you actually know rather than those you don't. People will usually massage you annonymously on there to cover up the fact they wouldn't say it to your face, and they know you. I've heard of many people having things such as insults to even death threats on there, though I myself have only ever had insults in my inbox. Good luck though.

I agree with Hollie

People will only talk stink about you, if you know them and they hate you for some reason. A normal person ain't gonna come out and talk stink about you. Watch out though on that site. Many people get attacked because its anonymous and we have no way to find out who its from

I've never had anyone say anything mean to me on formspring. Which was weird. People can bully me to my face, but not anonymously over the internet?

I've found the one who completes me.
This love is like nothing I've ever felt before. <3
