My best friend is friends with another girl that wants me to commit suicide. All she does is want me out of the picture for good. That way she can have my best friend all to herself. So I talked to her about it. Then she said it was my actions that made her imply that she wants me to commit suicide. Then my best friend wanted to invite both of us to her party. So we both tried to get along, but she couldn't stop saying stuff that made me feel bad. She was also blaming everything on me that was bad in her life. So then we didn't work anything out. Now she says its my fault that we cant get along. My dad wants me to go to the school counselor when school starts. Is that the best thing I could possibly do for this situation?

Hey there,

If your friend is friends with someone you're not friends with, why is there any reason that this person will steal your best friend away? If your best friend is just that, a best friend, she'll stick by you anyway. In the case of her implying she wanted you to commit suicide, do not let this get to you. Nothing should result suicide and she has no right to say these things. Deffinitely talk to someone about it if it is upsetting you enough, it may help to talk to someone and get their ideas on the situation.

If this is hurting you ,than yes go speak to a counselor. Sometimes its not the one who is getting hurt with the problems , it might also be the bully. No one deserves to lose their life because of anyone else. Goodluck !

Well, you could try to fix the situation on your own, but since the other girl is so stubborn and determined to blame everything on you, that might turn out to be quite tricky. Have you tried asking your best friend to talk to the other girl about why she does and says those things? If you have and it didn't help or you don't want to get her involved, I would say that yes, going to the school counselor is probably your best option right now.

all i read is the first line and decided to comment. i read nothing more and i am breath-taken. absolutely stunned. i have never heard of such a person. yes, i was a very protected child but i'm not a child anymore and this!? this almost hurts to read. i am so sorry that you're going through this. i am so sorry that you have to deal with this. im also sorry that your friend can't see that this girl hurts you! thats all i really have to say.

I think that your dad is right, going to the school counselor is a great idea. It will help you solve this problem and work through any others that may arise.

If she really is bothering you so much then i guess going to a counsler will help, but until then dont let her get to you. These types of people are the ones i consider no-lifers, she has no right to do what she did.
