Why is this bitch so sick?

My neighbour who is nearly 50 she is insulting me if we call the police she tells them we start it and the police believe her and she knows how to get around people and knows how to talk and tell lies through her teeth. Her 18 year old son has this ute which has lights all along the sde and up the top he revs up the car when leaving in the middle of the night and its so loud we cant hear our tv his mother cheers him on and celebrates about it. The other day our mail was in her mailbox by mistake and she yelled out my name to come and get it i ignored her so mum went and got it. Then when we went inside she told the old man next door to her that she (which means me) wouldnt get own fuckin mail off me so she had to get her mother (then she laughed at us then said to the old man) well she can go fuck her own mother then.

Well I think that you need to ignore her as much as you can! I know this is hard, but really hear are your choices:

1) You ignore her, try to avoid her.

2) You start calling the cops, and start fighting with her

3) You move.

4) You try to make amends

Other than these 4 choices, there is nothing you can do. So I would try to make amends first, and if she doesn't stop being rude, then I would start calling the cops on the things she does wrong.

These are honestly your two best options. I know it'll be difficult to ignore her, but it's definitely something that you should try. Fighting with her is just going to make the problem worse. Unfortunately, there are rude and ignorant people in this world -- you happen to live next door to one of them. Don't rise to her level and show her that your maturity far surpasses her age. If you're feeling brave, you can try to make amends with her, but please bring your mom with you in case things get ugly! In situations like this, it's never good to go in alone.

You should definitely try to ignore her as much as you can. That way, she can't start arguments with you and if you ignore her, she can't start problems. I also like the idea of making amends with her, and maybe talking about the situation with her; ensure your Mother is with you though. If she starts to become very vindictive; I'd suggest talking to the police if her attitude starts to get out of hand. She'll most likely be issued with a warning. I'd only suggest using this option if she is CONSTANTLY on your back.

I had a neighbour who was similar to yours, we'd go outside into our garden and she'd stand in her window and yell things at us, we felt like we couldn't do anything without receiving abuse for it and occasionally my mum would yell back at her but after a while, we just learnt to ignore her. People tend to do things for a reaction and if you give her one, you're pretty much just giving her reason to do it all the more because you're letting her know that she's annoying you so just ignore her and her son, let her carry on with whatever and hopefully she'll get bored of it.

If the police don't believe you, you could try and prove it. Is there anyone else in the building (I'm assuming you live in an apartment) who can vouch for you? If you have witnesses who back you up, it could work in your favour.

To be honest, I know that this is the advice no one wants to hear, but I have to agree with everyone else when I say you should ignore her.

She sounds like the type of person who gets a kick out of the attention she's getting. With that being said, I would say that you should either ignore her, or go about 'killing her with kindness.' Whenever she does something, act like like it doesn't bother you. Don't give her the reaction that she wants and sooner or later she'll loose interest.

If she craves so badly for attention, then eventually she'l get the wrong kind of attention and regret it. I'm just surprised she's not learnt that lesson by the age of 50. The bitch probably never spent any of her damn life or set a foot outside her neighbourhood.

I'd expect that behaviour from a 5-year old, not a 50-year old. If she craves attention that badly, her insecurity and immaturity probably rubbed off onto her son. Try to ignore it because any retaliation on your part will only cause her to react in a greater attention-seeking manner. The police probably believe her because she's a 50-year old mother and people at that age usually do not behave in such a manner. The police would be more likely to believe the 18-year old son was doing such behaviour.

If you are to report her, try to get video and audio recording with multiple independent witnesses. However, be prepared for her to lie by saying everyone is obviously against her as evident by the current complaint and prior ones that the police dismissed.

Good luck! Here is a LONG story of my experience with an awful neighbor.

We have a neighbor similar to this lady. This man last summer was building a chicken coop up against ours and our next door neighbors backyard fence which is illegal according to our homeowners association guideline this guy was also hammering away past 7-8pm and my mom and I both yelled out my bedroom window for him to please stop. We yelled it as politely as we could. Finally my mom dad and I had enough and reported the guy. Someone from our homeowners association went and talked to the guy and also got his side of things. The guy from the association then came over to our house and yelled at my dad saying crap. Apparently the guy who we complained about complained about my brothers drumming he threatened us saying if we ever asked him to please stop hammering that he will come over to our house to scream at us and bang on our front door every time my brother plays his drums. We cannot exactly afford to soundproof my brothers bedroom my brother follows strict rules he basically set for himself and he follows the homeowner association rules. Nick(my brother ) doesn't play everyday his playing is sporadic and spotty because he has a job now. When nick plays his drums it's usually mid early afternoon like around 11am to like 5pm very rarely does he play past 7pm but when he does he stops at 9pm because its a rule in the homeowners association guideline book. (And that means our neighbor has to follow the 9pm curfew rule as well) It's 10pm on Friday and Saturday but he never plays past 9pm. If a neighbor calls or comes over and politely asks us to tell/ask nick stop we always have nick stop because we know not only is it the right thing to do but we respect our neighbors but none of our neighbors ever complain anymore when nick was playing much more often We had some neighbors complain, but that was because nick had band practice. Back to our rude neighbor. Things quieted down but that's because the cold weather came along making it to cold and rainy to do construction like work outside. This summer I worry that if I even make a sound he will be true to his threat. He could own a gun and he could bring it with him. If I were home alone with my brother and the man broke in and started attacking me my brother wouldn't even hear me screaming for help since he wears noise cancellation headphones so he can hear his music he plays his drums to. It sucks that I have to live with that fear and thought in the back of my mind.

If you have witnesses to what she's doing, gather them and call the cops. Her son and his car reving in the middle of the night could be a violation of City Sound and Ordinance Laws, so find those out as well.

If all else fails, ignore her.

I must be missing something because even if he has a large supply of guns, his threat was to hit your front door. It takes an over-active imagination to think he would instead bust down the front door and attack your brother and you with a gun. By that same paranoid-filled logic, if your neighbour owns a vehicle, he could drive it right through your house.
