Hey,

I am going to move this over to the anxiety forum since it is about tips for managing anxiety.

For my anxiety, I have to find ways to distract myself, such as having conversations with people about more fun topics or playing a game.

I do a lot of mindfulness to help like the body scan etc. I do a lot of breathing exersises too and so mannnny distractions its unreal. I also say cheerleading statements to myself like "I've done this before, I can do it again" or "I am strong enough to do this". Listening to music helps me calm down too :)

Hey there,

When I get anxious, I do deep breathing exercises, and try to work out what's bothering me. When I figure out the trigger, I try to find a solution, or change the way I think about the problem so I don't get so anxious. I also do mindfulness occasionally too :)

Hi There,

I tend to try and keep myself busy with a variety of different activities.
I find I get anxious when I focus too much on a certain project so I have to walk away from what I am doing when I notice I am starting to slip.
I also talk to people, listen to music, knit and other activities.

Hey there,

So, my shrink taught me mindfulness exercises to relax--holding a candle in my hand, using all five senses to describe the sensations (not going to taste the candle though soooo).
Umm, lying on the floor listening to classical music.
Inspirational quotes.
Constantly reaffirming: "I can do this" "Today is a new day" etc.
