Biggest Fears?

What is your biggest fear? Mine is Clowns. I know that sounds stupid, but they scare the crap outta me! AND bugs, like those great big draonflies and just those big fat flies, wasps, hornets, yellow jackets, yeah things that buzz and just are gross.
How about you guys?

I think one of my biggest fears is that someday my whole family will be dead and I will be the only one left, alone. It's a very stupid fear, I know, but I can never get it out of my mind.

I have a fear of a lot of things. Big animals, walking in the dark, being stalked, being watched at night while I'm in my room, bugs, spiders, getting hurt (I don't do high risk things) heights, my house burning down in the middle of the night, things blowing up (heaters and such), going blind, that kinda thing, but my biggest fear would be losing those I love. Friends, family, my boyfriend... I'd go nuts...

I'm afraid of failure. I have these extremely high standards for myself and I get really upset if I can't live up to them.

I'm afraid of bumblebees, stinging ones, hornets, yellowjackets, wasps, and any other stinging creature similar to these that I may have missed.
I am also afraid to be stung by a killer bee, but my area doesn't even have those, I don't think. I live in Connecticut. O.O
Or to get bitten by a black widow or some other poisonous spider.
Or to get bitten by a poisonous snake. We only have two uncommon poisonous ones. I feel safeish.

I'm literally paranoid of those.

1. That my mom's cancer will come back.
2. Throwing up at school. It used to just be throwing up in general because it hadn't happened in like 5 years. But then I got sick twice within a month so now it's just a fear of it happening at school.

I have like 2 biggest fears?
One is losing the close people in my life. Whether they die or they 'let go'/'walk away'.
Two... It's a mixture of Andrea's and Lynne's fears... I have a fear of growing up because I have a fear that I won't be successful in life. Like I will just grow up to be one big failure. So if I don't grow up, I have nothing to be unsuccessful about...

I'm also incredibly claustrophobic, and sometimes get little bits of agoraphobia but thats more to do with the PTSD.
I'm TERRIFIED of needles. The amount i've had in my life... wow its been a lot I tell you. But i'm still so friggin scared!

My weirdest one is coming down from heights. I don't mind heights, I just don't like coming DOWN from them. So things like going down ladders, stairs, and escalators freak me out.

That freaks me out too. Although not so much the stairs.

Anything with wings freaks me out. Birds, moths, mosquitoes, even butterflies. Which is awful, I know.
But not things like wasps and bees and flies.

Failing (in anything) scares me shitless.

And being so old I have to depend on things just to get by.

My only fear is staying alive but being a massive failure in life who is just drifting along and getting into a progressively worse state despite all my efforts and efforts of others to help. This could be something that's instilled in people so it's not an irrational fear (phobia) but I suppose it is a fear nonetheless.

Breaking my leg was always a big fear.

Now that I've studied it more I have a massive fear of breaking my femur, severing the femoral artery, bleeding out and going into haemorrhagic shock.

God, if I do ever break anything, I'll be constantly wittering on to the ambulance crew, asking what my b/p is, etc etc. When really if I am conscious enough to worry about shock I'm properly not in it!

Anyway. yes. breaking legs.

Especially in the snow and then trying to get around in the snow on crutches.. I walk everywhere.

Ugh. Fears. Um, I think my absolute biggest fear is winding up alone. Like, never finding anyone I trust and love enough to spend the rest of my life with.

More pressing, however, is my fear of public bathrooms, especially since I live in a dorm where that's all we've got.

Yes, I forgot about this.

I saw an episode of casualty once and a woman fell down an escalator and her hair got caught and it scalped her because no one pushed the emergency stop button.

I agree that clowns are pretty freaky. I believe the term is caulrophobia but I could be wrong. I can handle being around so I wouldn't consider myself phobic, but they're pretty damn scary. I'm more afraid of those robot things they have in splash mountain at Disney world.
