Hate being around people...

Well basically - i don't like people generally.
I have nothing against the people i'm used to; my best friends & family, but when i'm around people i'm not used to i get really self-consious. I don't socialise with people when i'm in a new class, or sitting with someone new in a lesson, because i get very uncomfortable. alot of the time i try to make myself some what invisible, but just, for example, looking out the window on the bus, ignoring what's goinf on around me. If people speak to me, i make the converstations as short as possible to avoid talking. I don't know why, i just dont like being with people.

and as for the hating people generally...well i just fail to see how people in school can be so popular and alot of the time, be complete dicks? Like - boys from this other school thats close to mine often catch the same bus as me, and they're noise, they shout, they're rude and they are just completely oblivious to feelings. it's as if they dont have any, so they dont think anyone else should. i dont know if anyone understands where i'm coming from, but i just think most people are ignorant and arrogant. maybe thats just me, but i think this is part of the reason why i don't like going out or talking to people i dont usually talk to.

Its also probably why i only have a select group of close friends. at my school, i have quite a few people who would concider me their friend, but out of all of them, i only concider 3 of them close friends, and 2 of them best friends. outside of school i've got 4 friends, 2 of which are close friends, but only one of which i trust. and this friend is the ONLY person i fully trust.

basically, i just wanna know why i dont like socialising, and why i'm so shy when it comes to meeting new people, because i wasn't always like this (as far as i'm aware).

I think alot of people find it hard to talk to strangers and new people, so i wouldn't be too worried about it. I don't personally find it hard though. Have you tried talking to your friends or family about it? maybe they could offer some help?

thanks. and yeah i've spoken to a friend about it, and people know about it. i've thought maybe social anxiety? idk if that's a little extreme...it's just kinda the way i feel when i'm out. thanks again x

Its ok, and possibly, maybe you should see a doctor or a counciller? And the offer to talk will always stand
