It's not working ¬____¬ -
March 15th 2011, 01:44 PM
I have been to my GP and I'm seeing a mental health professional about anxiety and depression, it's not working :| At first I thought it was but I think I was trying to be optimistic. I'm still panicking everytime I can't get hold of my friends/family, I think people people hate me and I still have the confidence of a slug. I'm starting to think seeing them is a waste of my time and their time. Half of the stuff they've told me to do I know anyway. I know enough about basic psychology to know WHY I'm feeling this way and how to try and fix it but I think it doesn't work for me because I know what I'm doing.
They seem to be more bloody concerned about me using public transport than the reason why I don't want to use it. Me thinking my parents are going to leave me is more of a problem than not wanting to catch a bus, there are bigger fish to fry :| -more of a rant than anything- ![]() |

Ceilidh--hang in there, pally!
It often takes time for us to see the positive effects of therapy and counseling, which is really quite frustrating when we (as teenagers, and even as HUMANS) like to see immediate results. How have things been going lately? ![]() |

Well, I went on the bus on my own to meet a friend in town a few days ago, so things are looking a bit up
I've been seeing them for about 6 months, I just thought more would change by now. ![]() |
