Girlier bedroom? - July 11th 2010, 07:11 PM

Right now I have a bright red bedroom. I LOVE the color but I want it to look... more girly. I have turquoise as the accent color and a couple things that I love but does anyone have any advice on how I could make it look girlier/more feminine?

Becca. :]

get some really girly, maybe floral or whatever pattern you like bed covers. also, some pretty curtains can do wonders. also.. put things on the walls. photos/pictures/posters whatever you like. have you thought of just having the red on one wall? in my room i have one wall painted red (my favourite colour! ) and the rest of the walls white/cream. it just looks a bit less.. harsh. idk, just prefer it like that.

..and our dreams will break the boundaries of our fears..

I actually now have the opposite... all my walls are red but ONE, which is white and I'm drawing all over. I'll probably draw girly things on there I already have zebra striped bedding, but curtains are a good idea. Any more ideas would be appreciated as well.
