Post i seem to be increaingly bored - September 11th 2010, 10:25 PM

i dont know if this is the wrong section to post in but if so i apologize

anyways. i am a big gamer (or use to be) i play on the pc with my friends endless hours on end throughout the days. now that school is starting up again for me (im going to be in 10th grade), im finding my self bored with the games i have. i dont feel like playing them at all so now i find my self to be bored. like i said all of my friend also play pc (were all in a top pc clan) so i cant just hang out with them becuase we do it online (geeky, i know ). but what can i do to occupy myself? school starts in 2 days. i will be busy most of the time studying. but when im going to take brake and what i would do is play video games but now what should i do? i took reading up but i only read 1 or 2 series. started watching movies but now i cant find anyothers that fit my tatse. any ideas are appricated. oh and i was thinking of buying an xbox360 (few friends have this). i have the money that i have made this summer (ive sold stuff on craigslist.org and made about $300) but i will be starting to drive soon so i was thinking about how expensive car insurance is but still.

This was a constant problem for me in High School and earlier on in college. I'd switch back and forth between so many different games or MMORPGs.

If you have any other interests they can help cure the boredom. I found that after a while of being away from the games I would have a renewed interest in them. You may find that happens for you after some time away. I used to read more, watch movies, and take photos.

An Xbox360 might change it up for you. I bought one from my friend and I found I played it more when not on my PC. It does have a lot of social games too, like Modern Warfare 2, Left 4 Dead, and other games. If you are into social games then it might be a great platform for you.

However, insurance will be fairly expensive if you have to pay it yourself.
