cant find what im good at - September 18th 2010, 04:21 AM

ive done alot of things but i cant eitehr seem to stick to it or something. ive done: tikando, flag football (liked it alot but grew too old), soccer, roller hockey, airsoft (im great at it but parents dont like it), and skateboarding (sprained wrist 2ce so stopped). im currently best at my computer; programing, and video gaming but i feel kinda epty there. i always go back to that. i want to learn parkour but i dont think my parents will like it. since i have done alot and not sticking, i dont know if i should start parkour because i might not like it even tho i currently love it. what do you think?

My friend does Parkour. It's awesome. He's trying to get me into it. Talk to your parents about giving it a go. Because you'll never know if you like it or are good at it, till you try it.

Come on boys, come on girls
In this crazy, crazy world
You’re the diamonds, you’re the pearls
Let’s make a new tomorrow
Come on girls, come on boys
It’s your future, it’s your choice
And your weapon is your voice
Let’s make a new tomorrow

i talked to my mom about it and she thinks that if it isnt too dangerous (it hard to explain that to her) and my grades are good, i can spend my money on either a trainer or some lessions. my dad goes sorta with the flow but its my mom who i need to convince. my dad dosent know what parkour is but my mom now sorta does.

How old are you?

You don't need a trainer for anything really. Just find a local parkour meetup on craigslist or something and usually the more experienced guys will help you out and get you started without charging you. Plus you have people to train with that you know are there because they like you, not because they like your money.

All you need are shoes, now go get started bro!
