I'm re-decorating my room soon :) - September 30th 2010, 06:55 PM

Mostly because my carpet and wallpaper are buggered I've had them for years. I want my room pink and little bits of silver around

I'm thinking of light pink glitter paint on my walls or would that look too much? I'll also buy loads of posters as my walls always look bare

I also want hello kitty stuff ^____^ I have a Hello Kitty bed spread already. I just need curtains.

Any more ideas?

I'm liking the pink theme So much, I'm typing in pink.

Anyways haha.
I think that painting it pink with glitter, and with posters might be way too much.
I think that maybe a few simple art pieces would compliment the room and make it feel "warmer".

You can always make one or two walls glitter, and two walls not. Maybe you can hang mirrors on the glitter walls, and simple artwork pieces on the non glitter walls (Ex: Hello Kitty)

You can maybe even do different shades of pink. We had a room in our house with different shades of orange and it turned out great.

One more thing, maybe pick a second color that doesn't make the pink so "out there".
I'm going all out in my head here haha.

I'm excited for you. Let us know how it goes

The ideas you already have laid out sound pretty good, but if it were me, I would mix some gold and silver glitter in with the pink, but mostly just pink paint. It would make the walls look alot more glittery.

You could paint your room pink, and then put your posters in picture frames with silver frames.
