Not average. - December 18th 2010, 07:47 PM

I don't know how to explain this really. I'll start by saying this much.
I was going to College for a couple of days but then I dropped out, didn't want to spend 20, 000 dollars and owe money to the Government for an imbecil College. They seriously weren't teaching us anything there. Plus, I found it boring, not something I wanted to do.
Ever since I can remember I've referred to myself as a free spirit, I don't want to work average jobs then come home and chill, and just live in one blah city for the rest of my life, or just go and do College like everyone else. I want to do on adventures, I want to do something fun and exciting, and different. I guess you can say I'm rebellious. I just don't want to be average and am anything but average.
Am I the only one like this?

I think an awful lot of people would like to do that, but are too scared to take the first step due to the lack of security.
I'd like to be a smallholder one day, but I don't know if I'll ever dare to do it because it could all go to pot.

The animal instinct, the wanton man
She fed him with a hunger, an appetite
And fillin' with emotion he took a bite'

That sounds great and all, but where are you going to get the money for these "fun and exciting" things?

Considering we are more globally aware, less and less jobs require 9-5, one city jobs.

I don't know you so I don't want to make hasty judgments but I have a friend who thinks the same thing. Now, I know HIM and I can safely say that he uses this as an excuse not to work and be lazy, to do "fun" things all the time. What he doesn't realize is that life is not always fun and you have to work and sacrifice things.

You can definitely have an exciting job but it will not be easy and you still have to work hard.
