Do you own a gun?

If so, please tell me about it.
I am really interested in owning a gun/learning about them because they fascinate me. Like, how a lot of boys are with guns, thats just how I'm starting to feel
Also, why did you buy the gun in the first place? Self defense? Bragging rights that you own a gun? Thats what mine would be for. I would want to learn how to use it too, just in case I'd ever need it.

Sorry if this is the wrong place, but it seemed pretty lifestyle-ish to me.

Nope, I don't own a gun and don't think I will ever. But why are you interested in a gun? I would understand if it was for self-defense. But anyways...there are some girls who shoot guns for fun, like a hobby. Maybe you can wait until you're older to pursue that interest? Good luck

I think its really cool that you are interested in learning about guns. I took the hunter safety course and passed at age 9(California requires it to participate in 4-h shooting project) . Since then I have competed in 4 state wide target shooting competitions ive placed 3rd in all but my first. I have my own rifle and enjoy shooting. Learning to shoot can be really fun, but you must be very careful. One time I went shooting in a indoor range but my mom kicked me out because i held my .22 wrong! Just know that it is a big responsibility, but is also tons of fun!

i recomend skeet shooting and highly recomend you take a gun safety class. guns arent bad but if you dont know how to act or use one you can hurt yourself or someone else...

do you have a gun club or a "fish and game" club.. if so look into them most have youth programs..

My family has a gun that is deemed 'mine' but is not in my name.
I have learned to shoot it for self-defense.
It's a fun hobby.

My dad owns quite a few. I like to shoot them for fun and I suppose I would use them for self-defense if I absolutely needed to. You just need to be careful...

I don't but my dad owns quite a few. He hunts so he's got a bunch of them.

my friend is a soldier he have like 10 of them in his bed room lol.

He have a chinese AK, 3 pistols, a musket, and 4 world war 2 era rifles(British, American, german, and russian) which is the K98, enfield, and M1), and a remington 12 gauge shotgun

He is 22 and he collects them and he also does target practice.

My dad is a detective so he has a lot. I don't even know where he keeps them to be honest. We have three safes in the house and he has a special one in his car. I don't know where two of the safes even are in the house.

I don't like the idea of people having guns "for the hell of it." It's dangerous not only for my dad's job, but for others as well. Self defense and hunting are okay, but even in those instances guns can be abused. If you do get one, you need to make sure to be really careful with it.

Why not try a paintball gun first?? They're fun and pretty harmless.

I don't have any guns, I'm an anti-gun person my dad and grandfather do have guns but not in their houses they keep them in the ranch locked. I'm not too happy with them owning some guns but my grandfather has been hunting since before I was born so I can't really expect him to stop.

I know my stepdad has one somewhere in the house. I'm pretty sure it's for hunting though.
