It rains a LOT.
The economy is a huge mess right now.
We take every excuse to get drunk ~ exam results, Paddy's day, Christmas Eve, first day back to college ~ all prime examples (for young people anyway.)
We have no snakes.
We DON'T talk like Gerald Butler in P.S I Love You, by the way!!

Those are all a bit vague because I couldn't really think of much to say....is there anything in particular you'd like to know about Ireland??

lol thanks.

mainly just about things to see there, things you can associate with ireland that you know are deffinatly about it. it's for a competition and i dont want to use the word 'ireland' in the peice itself, if you know what i mean. so just landscape detail and sights or traditions to do with it.

You forgot the most important one, just cuzzzzzzzzzzzzz

The nicest walk I've ever been on in Ireland was to the gap of dunloe. That is a beautiful place.

Also a lot of people associate the faerie with Ireland, stories of how people sold their first kid to the faeries in return for gifts. They left them saucers of milk at night and feared and worshiped them in equal measure.

Also the rebel songs, they were a large part of the culture, while they don't hold the same meaning in modern times they are still seen as important and enjoyable

Car bombs, potatoes and guiness. That's all I know about it =p

The animal instinct, the wanton man
She fed him with a hunger, an appetite
And fillin' with emotion he took a bite'
