I just watched Harry Potter and the deathly hallows part 2 film and I am wondering are people still going to buy more harry potter memorabillia after the last movie is finished because theres no more harry potter left? Also in the movie harry snaps the elder wand in 2 what did harry do with the wand after he defeated voldermort in the book?

He got rid of the wand in the book too

Also, I'd imagine people will be buying Harry Potter memorabilia for a while after the film's been released and then again when they bring it out on DVD. Even though the series has finished it doesn't mean people won't still like it. I mean, Star Wars memorabilia is still popular and the films for that were released years ago.

Oh yeah, I'll be buying memorabilia. I'm going to make sure that my kids know who Harry Potter is. If they don't I'll be uber disappointed. xD

on page 600 of the last harry potter book, harry tells Dumbledores portrait that he's putting the elder wand 'back where it came from' ...I assume this means he's putting it back in Dumbledores tomb where Voldemort stole it from. That way if harry dies a natural death, the wands power will be broken He doesn't break it and throw it away like in the movie. You shouldn't feel like you need to pack all your stuff away now that the movies are all over. Just wait until you feel ready to do that! I'm sure people will continue buying memorabilia...the books were a huge part of many peoples lives afterall!

Also, in the book, Harry uses the elder wand to fix his wand, before he puts it back.

Harry Potter is something that people of our generation have grown up with.

It's going to be hard to let go

But I have a feeling Harry Potter will be a book studied by school kids in hundreds of years time. I reckon J.K Rowlings success comes close to that of Shakespeare.

I certainly won't be taking my posters down for a long time

Harry Potter is one of they films that won't be forgotton, our generation grew up with it and i'm sure we'll be passing it on. Children, brothers, sisters, nieces & nephews excetera. Warner Bros. are a multi billion dollar company, Harry Potter probably generates most of that income, i guarantee that the memorbilia will still be flowing when we're in our 50's.

I'm making sure I remember Harry Potter, I'll either read a book or watch a film at least once a month! Having Harry Potter days and keeping all my posters up! I can't remember a life without Harry! He's in it forever now!
