Getting distracted - May 15th 2012, 09:33 PM

Okay, so I'm I'm year 11 and my gcse exams are just starting so it's a kind of big, important time of year for me but I've been getting distracted in class a lot recently and my mind just goes off somewhere and I start thinking about other things. It also happened in my French listening on Monday :s I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how not to get distracted/keep my concentration in class? Anything would be appreciated! <3

Hey Katherine!
Getting distracted around now will be a problem for heaps of people. Itís getting warmer and pressureís not always great at helping concentration.

You clearly know itís important to concentrate - so you probably are making an effort.

So then it becomes important to check whether youíre sleeping enough (youíre probably stressed so relaxing and more sleep may equal improved concentration), eating enough and eating the right foods (youíve heard this a gazillion times but thatís because itís truuue) and whether you have any other things going on which may be a distraction.

Sorry that was a horrible sentence :P

So if thereís anything you want to talk about, PM me and Iím happy to chat.

Thank you for your help I reckon it's mainly because I'm not sleeping enough so I'll try and get to bed earlier!
Thanks again <3
