Need help with something - May 20th 2012, 12:59 AM

I'm a procrastinator. THERE. i said it. I need to write a 5 page essay on 2 issues affecting my community-- which to be honest is no biggy. BUT i need to interview 2 people about the issues. I'm writing about budget cuts and crime so I'm looking for a teacher, teacher's assistant, police officer, school administrator, sheriff, or any sort of professional in those 2 types of fields. If any of you have a friend or family member in that field that i could interview over the internet i would be eternally grateful!!
If you're willing to let me interview you and you're not a professional in these fields I don't mind changing my essay up a bit, i'm desperate. Need to turn this in on monday.
Thanks!

Have you considered just walking into a police station and asking if you could speak to someone for a few minutes? The department might even have a public relations officer of some sort, specifically hired to answer questions of this nature. As far as teachers go... ehh, I think you're out of luck on that one, since it's Sunday and schools aren't open. Do you know any retired teachers? Could a tutor suffice? In any case, I wish you the best of luck!

Is there something in particular you would like help with in regards to the procrastination?

Awesome! =) I'm glad everything worked out.

Since the immediate problem has been resolved, I'm going to go ahead and close this thread. If you would like advice regarding anything else (ex. procrastination or other school-related topics), feel free to create a new thread!
