maths maths maths ewww - April 29th 2014, 10:05 AM

Ok, this is my first thread or whatever so stay patient.
Well I was just wondering if there was anyone out there that knows much about algebra eg. Cubic equations, completing the square, remainder theorem, simultaneous linear equations.
If any of those triggered a memory don't sit there, help me out. IM more than willing to talk through, study buddy with someone on these topics. Moral support and motivation would go so far. Thank you in advance to anyone who replies to my silly little thread. Thank you all !

I don't know if you're British or not but BBC Bitesize have some good resources

Back when I was doing GCSE maths I also watched this guy's videos a lot:

If you're struggling with any of your school subjects, I'd suggest taking advantage of the resources that your school offers. Many times, your teachers will be more than willing to help students who are having trouble fully understanding class material. Talk to your teachers before/after class, and see if they can help you out.

Alternatively, studying with someone in your class is another beneficial tool that you can utilize. While you can certainly seek help from someone who is not in your class, I feel that using a classmate for help is preferable. They will be studying the exact same topics as you, at the exact same time, and thus, will have a better idea of the material that needs to be covered.

Math is hard for a lot of people, so don't give up. It's a very important topic to study, as it is likely to aid you significantly int he future. Do your absolute best, and that's all that anyone could ask for. Good luck.
