probation .says I cant have a job. (lobby discrimination) - August 18th 2014, 01:28 AM

I'm on probation and my probation officer says I'm not allowed to have a job. how could they possibly arrest me for working? I'm about ready to resort to serious blackmail but I try not to partake of the mafia lifestyle as so many of my friends do. what should I do? I know they're doing this because I am gay and it makes me mad as he'll. at one point I actually considered gettin t4 and blowing up the probation office with it. (t4 is used in tactical ballistic missiles)

Hey there,

I moved this from the LGBT forum to Education and Careers because I felt the advice you're searching for doesn't pertain to your sexuality, but to your issues with your probation officer/finding a job. If you feel I've done this in error, feel free to PM me and we can discuss it.

As for your question, I definitely don't think blackmail or violence are very good ideas. If you're on probation, stepping out of line in the slightest might make your situation worse. Have you discussed this with your probation officer? If there are conditions of your probation you don't understand, that might be a good place to start. If you feel you're being discriminated against, find out if there's someone you can report it to, but like I said, I'd start with talking to your probation officer.
Good luck, and take care!

And what good would blackmailing do you? Get in further trouble with your parole officer and possibly even legal charges.

What are your terms of your probation? Depending on what your terms are, you may not be allowed to work and if that is the case, then yes they can arrest you for working.
