Writing essays in APA formatting. - January 12th 2015, 02:02 PM

I have a class where essays need to be written using APA formatting. I've only ever used MLA formatting before, so I don't know how to write in APA. How do I do it?

I'm not really sure how to do it either but I was Googling up some stuff and found this sample essay that is stated to be written in APA format. If that doesn't make any sense, I would recommend talking to your professor during office hours about APA writing. If your college has some sort of a writing lab, you could also go in there and ask about it. Hope this helps!

Oof. It's a lot to explain here. I've attached a link to really space it all out.

Then, click around the left tabs to see how everything is supposed to look.

I think you don't need to worry about writing such type of essays. There is nothing difficult in APA formatting. You only need to follow APA guidelines. I have found a quick guide for you here:

I hope it will be usefull for you

APA and MLA are similar in some ways.
Here is a link from the Online Writing Lab that could be useful:
Click this.
They also had a comparison of MLA and APA a while ago but I cannot seem to find that now. Maybe after searching around the site you will find it.
Hope this helps and that your paper goes well.
