Equine Studies (UK) - May 9th 2009, 02:37 PM

Hey, I'm in Year 11 in the UK and i really want to know where the best places are to take equine studies once i leave sixth form in 2011, behaviour and sports studies in particular. My ultimate aim is to either be an animal physcologist speciaslising in horses, or to train racehorses...

I had a look at some options, one of which was Duchy College which is fairly local to me, however they are very basic courses. Another few places I looked at where:
  • Bicton College
  • Plymouth University
  • Glyndwr University
They seem very good and well, but I'm not sure which one offers the best courses?
Any help would be most appreciated

Thankyou in advance!

You may want to have a look at the UCAS website and do a search.

Remember you can apply to up to five different universities, and towards the end of year 12 you will be able to go to the open days to look round them and you'll get a chance to ask questions. If you go onto the websites you should be able to get a prospectus from them but not for entry in 2011 yet I won't have thought, another year until that comes out, but you will be able to get one for 2010 and it won't be that different.

Also if you go onto the Times newspaper website they do a University League table which will tell you the top rating Universities and you can get the ratings for particular courses too
