super nervous . plz help - April 7th 2015, 05:40 AM

so as some of you guys may know im repeating my sophomore year because i didnt give my finals cause of depression ..and school starts tomorrow and im super nervous of people judging me..there is this one teacher ..she is so judgemental and kind of a hypocrite ...i know she is going to bring up this topic and embarass me infront of the whole class...i feel like such a failure ...do you guys have any tips how do i face them...any help would be appreciated .thanks

I'm not sure how they deal with such issues in your country, but over here in the United States, if a teacher/instructor publicly called out a student on his/her academic failures, that's just asking for trouble. People don't look the other way on situations like this.

If I were you, I'd report your teacher's (alleged) behavior to the school authorities. Teachers are supposed to encourage and foster positive behavior and not the opposite. In the event that your teacher embarrasses you in class, talk to the Dean/Principal of your school immediately. The worst thing you can do is sweep the issue under the rug and pretend it didn't happen. I know people who've done that.
