Help getting back up after failure. - April 7th 2015, 05:35 PM

Hello Everybody!

I'm new here, this is my first post on this forum, first day actually :-). Big ups to the people who came up with such a forum, that's just genius!

I need help on getting back up after falling. I am a 16 year old from South Africa. In SA, an academic year is divided into four terms. I failed my first term very badly, although this isn't the end as there's still 3 more terms.

I'm struggling to let go of the lingering thought of not ever passing any other exam. I'm filled with a lot of negativity. Every time I study, I study with my heart beating fast, as if I'm scared I won't ever grasp the material I'm studying. I've been studying really hard lately and although I've been able to answer most questions, I still feel as if it's not enough.

I really need help on this one, people. I dream of one day becoming an Airline Pilot for my national airline, fly those A340-600s to IAD(Washington) yo ;-).

So really, guys, I have a dream which requires lots of hard work and good school marks.

Any help would be appreciated and thank you in advance.

Regards
Orifha

Hard work is the only way to make your dream come true. Forget the past failures and focus on your studies from now. Make a time table for studies and follow it. It is the best way to utilize time fully.
