do or skip my exams? - May 15th 2009, 10:40 AM

Hay......as some may know 3months ago i had 2400 pgs currculumn to study 4 ...today I did a virtual exam / similar to the oreiginal one / and i bearly passed in some subjects when i got really high scores in others I do not know if I apply this year or donot i made a list of pros:
1.get rid of the year and repition.
2. Well nothing.
Cons:
1. I will get extremely blamed if i did not get high scores and every 1 is gonna nagg over my head 'i told u this .that ...etc'
2.I may fall in other crumpy mood and cut again if i do not do wel.
3.if the '''friends''' who caused me much trouble /in addition to my own/ get better marks I will be pist by every means they will get to and I will feel like I lost ....
4.I were once a good student and falling now ....just not fair.
So i am thinking of dropping this year and applying next year it will creat an angre storm in my house and guilt feeling but i will feel the same if I do not get good marks
/I screwed with chemistry and culture/
i need ur advice....encouragement..i do not know it seems like a falling loop
Note:my exams are on the 4th of june and i got a max of 400 pgs each day with 2-4 days between each subject....any thing lifting would be gr8...thnx

I would definitely choose to just take the exams. If you don't do well, at least you tried!

Hm, could you try taking the exams and seeing how well you do, and repeat the courses you didn't do so well in over the summer?

In the meantime, keep studying the material, prepare yourself as much as you can before the exams. Keep taking the practice tests if you can, and study the questions you got wrong so you understand why the answers you chose weren't correct. Learn from any mistakes. Could you speak with your teachers about any of the course material you're having trouble with?

Try to remind yourself at the end of the day, it doesn't matter much how other people react to your test scores. So long as you know you did the best you could, and so long as you tried - well, that's what counts, you know? Don't let the opinions of others discourage you from trying to do well, or make you want to give up. You're only human, you're doing the best you can and there's nothing wrong with that.

If you were a good student once, I think you still are...I don't think being a good student is something that ever changes. What changes is how challenging the material is as you further your education. If you think it would be helpful for you to repeat some courses? There's nothing wrong with that either. Don't push yourself, keep with things you know won't be outside your comfort level.

I would definitely take the exams if I were you.

Look at it this way:
1. You can give up and never know if you would have done good or bad
2. You can study hard and try and get good grades on the test and have a possibility of getting the good grades.

If you don't try, you will never know. If you try there is a possibility of success.

I think that you should definitely take the exam. If you know which parts on the virtual exam you did bad on, take this time now to study up on those parts. If you still have problems with those things, ask someone if they can help you (teacher, friend, tutor, etc). Make flash cards, ask people to quiz you on it, quiz yourself on it. Do whatever it takes for yourself to get up to where you want to be.

Whatever you do, don't let the thought of a possible outcome stop you. Trying and knowing that you tried your best is the most important thing. In the end, the outcome may just be better than you expect it to be.

Take the exam!

Put it this way, you may pass or you may fail

If you don't go, you definately fail.

thnx.....five days, got 2 keep up a little and there is a chance as somebody's sig says ''victory is always possible for the person who refuses to surrender''.

I onlyll have about 20-30 pages of delays which are doable but I feel like I forgot every thing and when I compare my study hours to others it is very little....any body with advice 2 deal with the stress and study crams /if I could review 70-100/ pages a day of a subject I have a very good chance to get a scholar ship which I desprately need/

I need total marks in physics ,maths, chemistry and science /good rates with others/ any advice? Websites of study managemeant I could use? If ur good at remmembering a specific subject or studying it any of ur advice would be veeeeerrrrrrrryyyy appreciated by me and every 1 who reads it.

If i could give advice\ no matter what never surrender or give up and shut all the negative things u tell ur self\

and for physics \which i am doing best at\ if ur studying both calculus and algebra based at one time learning one of them then switching symbols will show u that basically physical concepts r the same it is just maths that differs no matter what section u study

Good luck all.....
