Honestly before taking any test it's always good eating a decent breakfast so that you don't get hungry and get distracted and what not. And before taking the test, try not to stress about it. I remember always just talking with friends and just hanging out and then when I got to taking my test, I was relaxed and calm and collected and did much better then if I just rushed to school and got to class and took it. Good luck! xx

Well someone I know says they always eat a tuna sandwich when they have an exam. I've never tried it but they do quite well on exams and they said it helps them concentrate. Like Holly said anything to eat before an exam's good.

I always heard it's good to eat a high carb meal before (stressful?) activity. I usually eat oatmeal before all major exams and whatnot, it doesn't make me bloated but doesn't leave a bad taste in my mouth like a lot cereals do.

Just don't stress out about it and you will do fine.

Something to give you energy, for sure. Also, isn't orange juice good for that? I could be wrong but for some reason I think that.

Try not to psych yourself out by studying too hardcore right before the test. Good luck on it

Studying in chunks definitely makes it more likely you'll remember what you're studying versus studying for many hours at a time.

Eat a banana, that's what I did before all of my GCSEs :]

Honestly though, I don't think it matters what you eat, just eat something that'll mean your stomach doesn't start rumbling half the way through!

And yeah, I think your revision sounds good. Whatever works for you, really. Just try and keep calm about it all and pretend you're doing another practice paper. I'm sure you'll be alright.

One thing I heard is listen to music while revising and you will then link the music to the subject and remember it in the exam when you think of a particular song.
It has worked for me slightly but in the exam I wouldn't be thinking of songs.
I am going to see John Barrowman live the day before my exam so I have been doing maths revision while listening to John Barrowman

After the exam DON'T talk about it. It just stresses you out more and makes you doubt your answers when you hear other answers. Whats done is done and you can't change it so it is best to just forget about it after the exam.

i agree with Rachel about not talking about it after the exam. theres nothing worse than coming out of an exam and everyone going.. "what did you put for so and so?.. oh i put this.. blah blah" it just makes you get all worked up about it and i always end up convincing myself i've failed. as for food, personally i never eat anything in the morning before exams, but thats just me..
