pre-algebra tutor needed. - August 18th 2017, 02:55 AM

I'm needing someone who would be willing to PM me and help with my pre-algebra course. I have to take pre-algebra 1 and pre-algebra 2. I've done well on the first 6 assignments, but I'm starting to have trouble with assignment 7 and above.
In Assignment 7, it interduces letters that are used as variables, and that's where the confusion comes in. I'm not going to post the assignment here, because I don't want to take up space on TH's forums doing that.

I might be able to help but since I don't know what type of problem you are struggling with I cannot guarantee anything. I also haven't done any algebra is years. You should also check out Khan Academy. They have helped lots of people with math.

Hey I can help with algebra.
Glancing over the questions you posted, most of them seem straightforward enough, but a few are a bit weird (maybe just the formatting). So if you need help drop me a line

PM me if you ever wanna talk. Send a message my way.
And remember, you matter. You're awesome. You're beautiful. Stay strong, the world will get better.

I believe that a number of these questions just require you to be familiar with the meaning of certain words/terms such as when it asks you to identify the variable, coefficient etc.

If you have a book they should outline/describe what those words mean and it should help.

As Aguy has said, some of these are kind of confusing and I am not sure if it's due to how they are written or if it is just because I haven't been in a math class in years.

Definitely message Aguy, I think he might be better able to help.

Also, something to consider is messaging your teacher or asking them for some help the next time you see them. Usually teachers are more than happy to help their students and they will set aside some time for you to get help.
