Post My PSAT score - December 13th 2017, 12:48 AM

I am a Sophomore (10th grade)
I took the PSAT a couple months back

I got a score of 1140. I do not think this is a good grade.
Pleaseeee be honest with me, no need to be nice or anything, is this a bad score? Is it kind of mediocre?

I have not told my parents I received my score online yet, as they have very high expectations and i am still not sure if what i got would be considered "good".

Hey, nice to see a discussion about the PSATs! I think your score is just fine, especially for a fellow sophomore. If you look on your official score page, it should have a percentile for you to compare against. Anything above 50th is above average, and iirc, your score is definitely above that. Congrats and well wishes!

thanks!
I checked my scores and info online and I got the 85th percentile. I wasn't sure if that was good or not, a lot of people scored much higher so I felt like my score was low. I feel better knowing that it is average for a sophomore to get that grade

thank you so much.

Hey,
The 85th percentile isn't anything to sneeze at! It means you scored more than 85% of the PSAT takers!
In my eyes, what would be beneficial would be to take a look at where you made errors. That way you can improve your SATs.
