There aren't quite as many farmers nowadays. If farming is what you want to do as your profession and you're happy with what the salary is then by all means go for it! Plenty of people would buy quality produce that has actual nutritional value

Hello and welcome to teenhelp. We are so happy that you have joined. You can make a money as a farmer. I have found this article on farming if you would like to read it when you have time. It is, https://thefreerangelife.com/100-way...money-farming/.

The area that I live in we have a lot of farmers and they make a lot of money. It also depends on what kind of farmer you would like to be. Do you want to be a fruit and vegetable farmer so you are just going to doing apples and corn and things like this and that's all you are selling or are you an animal farmer. So you are selling meat.

No matter what you are selling, you can make a lot of money. So what do you want to go into. This boy at my school his parents own a farm and they do everything, it is the cows and the chickens and all the apple trees and they have so much going going on and a lot of money. Yes this kid and this siblings are also working night and day, but what I'm saying is you can make money. Get the right people helping you out and you can make it.

He lives in the country and I'm always talking to him about this and he says that it is fun, but he is tired a lot. He also has so much fun driving all of the different tractors. So I wish you the best wish whatever you want to go for.

Hello!

As pieistheonlyviableoption mentioned, if farming is what you would like to do and it makes good enough money for you to live comfortably on, by all means, go ahead and go for it!

Thanks for the answers very much! More of all I am interested in producing farming products from animals like milk, meat, cheese, cream and so on. Now I have an opportunity to but 15 cows and to begin farming. How do you think what kind of separators I should choose [Edited] and how many it would be better to buy for this count of animals on my farm?

Are you thinking of selling the products or is it for personal use only?

If you are selling, you would have to work out how cost effective it would be to process these products and whether you it would be worth the cost investing in something more suitable for commercial purposes. You may also have to check with rules and regulations in your area for things like health and safety too.

If it's for personal use, you may not have to invest in separators as much as if you were doing it for commercial use.

Are you able to talk to other people in the farming profession who may be able to advise you in how to get started? If not, maybe you can consult with a vet who may be able to help you?

If you're located in the UK (as I read 'Canterbury'), I suspect that farming in this country is going to take a very serious knock come Brexit if there is a No Deal with the EU.

Anywhere else other than the UK, then highly likely you'd find farming profitable. I suggest you consider studying at university and getting a degree if you wish to any form of farming, because degrees are the requirement these days unless you are planning to do apprenticing.

Is this farming as in animal husbandry, or cereal crops you are interested in? Or both?

I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but here in the UK with Brexit looming 31st October and a government dithering no better than Labour and Parliament in absolute meltdown and total chaos, farming and fisheries are fearing for their businesses. Thankfully, not blacksmithing.
