There are a lot of factors that go into it. Pay wise it definitely varies by field, but then the education requirements, number of hours, physical demands, etc, vary by job as well. Are you interested in a certain field?

I agree with Dez in that there are many factors to consider when thinking of what job is the 'best'. It's also subjective in that what might be 'best' for you isn't 'best' for someone else.

What do you think?

I agree with Dez and Celyn.

The best job as to be the best one for you - obviously taking in the pay and whether you enjoy working there or not.

In the UK, any 'best' job would be a professional's position, so whatever you choose, do please consider taking a course with Open University and get a degree. Open University (UK) makes charges for their education, and some of these could cost as much as £15,000 for a 3-year degree course, but it would defs pay to make enquiries.

Or consider taking an apprenticeship. Apprenticing can be a long haul, you would get paid for doing one, but the money isn't great (unlike in France). But whatever you choose, think very carefully.

I apprenticed under my dear Grandpa, but my interest sparked in blacksmithing since I was about 7 year's old. Of course, this very ancient craft stemmed in my family from the 17th century, and I felt a particular calling when very young.

I would say that teaching is a calling, too. And you'd defs need a degree in that.

I wish you good luck.
