stressed about finals...majorly stressed - June 6th 2009, 10:16 PM

im a pretty smart kid nd i get decent grades, but lately ive been stressed over my finals for like no reason at all.

3 of my 6 teachers gave me a review for my finals. my english teacher, my history teacher, and my biology teacher each gave me a review. my art, health, and geometry teachers decided we didnt need a review, whch im perfectly okay with.

so this week is finals week, last week they decide to give us our reviews. my bio teacher gave me my review on like wednesday,i put it off until friday night. so i was up until 3am last night finishing my biology review and a missing assignment i had. i had lots of sugar and coffee to keep me up and i had music playing to keep me awake also.

my history teacher gave me my review on wednesday also,i put it off until tonight. i dont know how long ill be up until tonight, but i really want to finish it tonight even though its not due until thursday. i hate history and its a rrealy hard subject for me to focus on because i find it so boring. im really tired from being up so late last night and then wakingup at like 10am this morning.

any tips on how i can stay focused and awake and get this 8 page long review done for acclerated US history??? please help,i really need to get this reviw done or ill fail the class and have to retake it...

I'm sure there are a ton of people feeling the way you are right now, including myself. It's the end of the year, it's June, the weather's nice, and no one really wants to study; it's hard to stay focused, especially on a subject that you have no interest in learning. It seems like you're a good student and that, in itself, is truly great.

This is an excellent link that I think you should have a look at. Study a lot, but remember to take a lot of breaks. Also, it helps if you get a decent amount of sleep the night before the exam.
