Driver's Ed - August 6th 2009, 04:15 AM

Anyone know how long a school provided Driver's Ed course takes? Or does it differ from state to state (I have a feeling this is what it is)?

In California it is a pain in the butt.
You have to go to classes after that you take the behind the wheel classes, take the written test at the DMV center and the behind the wheel test.
It take about 6 months to complete all the procese.
And in Mexico if you know someone who waorks at the "driving center" they give it to you that same day.

It differs by state because each state sets their own driving laws for teen drivers. I took driver's ed and it was not fun at all. It was very boring.

How did Ghandi ever withstand the hunger strikes and all,
Didn't do it to gain power or money if I recall,

Re: Driver's Ed - August 8th 2009, 04:00 AM

Hey,

It definitely does differ from state to state; if you are interested in it why not ask the person who runs the program or ask the guidance counselor? I know that paying for it through a private company (at least where I live) got the classes done faster (3 days for 8 hours) but was expensive whereas a school based program took longer but was quite a bit cheaper.

The best thing to do would be to talk to your school official about it because they will be able to provide better information.

Best of luck.

5 straight days, 9-4 during the summer. God it sucked...
