Talking GCSE Music-Special Event-Anyone can help!?! - October 2nd 2009, 08:04 PM

Hey, Not sure if any of you guys could help me out here.

I've just finished writing, and I have nearly finished recording most of my GCSE composition.

I've written a song, Its based on when my Dad was in hospital and my first love.
I guess you could say its a love song....within reason...

But I need to think of a Special Event that I can use?

(We need to state what event we wrote the music for, and why we wrote it like we did...)

Any help would be great (:

I'm a runaway train on a broken track
I'm the ticker on the bomb that you can't turn back
Thats right.
I got away with it all and I'm still alive.

As long as hot blood runs through my veins
I'm still alive.

i'm not sure i fully understand what you're asking [i didn't take gcse music..] but from the sounds of it you've got to come up with an event or story kinda about what made you write your piece?.

you could use the experience of your dad being in hospital and talk about that.. or an easier one would probably be about your first love. if you don't have some romantic story then just make it up.. or perhaps you could use a photograph that you find or have taken? i don't know if that's allowed.?

sorry i'm probably not being very helpful here. :/

Me and a friend came up with the Idea of a 'Memorial Event'....

So now I'm just open to any other ideas =]
