College or no college? - October 16th 2009, 09:16 PM

So last tuesday my English class started our "college planning unit" which is pretty much the application process and all that.
The problem is, I don't know if I even want to go to college, much less where I want to go. I've talked about it a little with my parents, and we came up with a small list of schools I'm slightly interested in, but none of them seem like a very good match for me. I know what I want in a college, I just don't know if that school exists :/
I don't even know what I want to do with my life. I'm not very good at anything. I thought I might want to be a teacher, but talking in front of people makes me really anxious, so that's out, I guess.
To make things worse, I've been in a really bad mood for the past few days. It may or may not be related to the college planning....

i think it's worth applying to college and keeping your options open. look around and keep an open mind.. perhaps consider some courses that you haven't even thought about before. get some prospectus's and see what you like the look of. if you apply then decide that it's not for you then you don't have to go.. but if you don't apply at all then you're closing off your options.

..and our dreams will break the boundaries of our fears..
