Thumbs down job interview - November 13th 2009, 11:23 PM

i just had a job interview today for this internship i really want, and i don't think it went so well. towards the end he asked me
"what do i do to take initiative?" and i for some reason just blanked out and didn't know how to answer i was like
"umm uhh i just try my best and ..yeah. i don't really know how to answer this"
i'm pretty sure that blew the whole interview lol and then when i got home i googled "how to take initiative" so i'd know what the right answer was! so embarrassing. ugh. anyway do you guys have any advice? how would you answer that question?
they said they'd contact me again in the next few days regarding a second interview. i hope i still have a chance.

Re: job interview - November 14th 2009, 04:13 AM

The answer is :

-> Depending on the situation, I asses and analyze it and then determine what needs to be done and I do it.

Don't worry about the interview, just be calm about it and wait for them to contact you. The best thing to do is stay calm.
