A-Level German ??!!?? - January 13th 2010, 07:48 PM

So,

I had chosen 3 out of my four A-Levels to take when I go to college this year. The fourth was a toss up between German and Chemistry.

I went and saw my language teacher today, and spoke to her, and the head of languages, and they both said that I'd be fine to take German at A-Level.

So, I was wondering if there's anyone on TH that has taken A-Level German and can tell more about what it's like??

The specification/syllabus is WJEC at the college where I am

Any input would be appreciated :]

Note - I have read about the course and how it is structured and stuff, I would just like first hand experiences from people who have taken this as an A-Level

Thanks

I got away with it all and I'm still alive.

I have A level German. And err I'm not sure what to say about it. It is quite a big step from GCSE definitely and you will have to work to get the grade you want to achieve. Its not overly difficult in my opinion, but then again I'm a linguistic person and I've done 8 years of German, If you want any specific questions answered I'll try do so.
