Writing to an ambassador - February 23rd 2010, 04:44 PM

What is the proper way to do it? Politely, angry, threatening?

I want to write to His Excellency Zhou Wenzhong Ambassador of the People's Republic of China.

Due to http://current.com/1m3is4c

Over 1000 tigers being maltreated and malnourished so they can sell their bones in wine as a delicacy. The whole operation is a laughing state. Even the public view of the facility is disgusting, and then the tigers behind public eye are in devastating shape. They don't keep records of deaths and births of tigers because of them purposely killing them off. They also hide behind the law and don't call the bones for medicine use, as that's against the law. They use it as 'tonics'

I just haven't ever written to somebody like this before and I want to know the proper way to do this so I can also show other people how to do it as well.

If any of you are interested in the address/fax/email of this ambassador as well, I'll provide that information as well.

Good for you for standing up for what is right! That's really sad, poor tigers! In regards to the letter, you should write it professionally and politely, but make sure you express your concerns. If you come off threatening or angry, they're less likely to take you seriously.

I wish you the best of luck!
