they have done it agian - February 25th 2010, 03:54 PM

i am so fed up with where i work at the moment they have done it agian, they gave me back all 5 days so i have been going to go work 5 days a week, and now they have employed someone else - so they have told me i will need to drop the 2 days i was given back and go back to working 3 days as they cant pay me for 5 as they have employed someone else. my mum n dad keep telling me to get a job somewhere else, i am looking for jobs but i just cant seem to get any no matter how many times i apply for a job i dont even get asked to go for an interview its getting to the point where i am now fed up of this, it keeps happening, just as i thought things were going all well this happens, is it time i quit where i work and get a job somewhere where this wont keep happening to me even though i love where i work lots and where i work is like a family to me should i try and get a job in another nursery/preschool ?

I would say it depends on why you're working. Are you working just to have some extra spending cash? If so, and as you said you are very happy where you work, you should stay at your current job.

Are you working in order to pay bills, buy food, etc.? In that case, you should still keep your current job so that way you can at least get an income. But you should definitely continue to look for another job at the same time so you won't be strapped for cash.
