Psy Paper - March 20th 2010, 03:20 AM

I'm doing a Psychology research paper on Silence Of The Lambs. Hopefully some of you have seen this. I picked it due to it being one of my favorite movies and it's value for psychology. Give me some idewas on how I can write this?

Geek? Nerd? More like intellectual badass.

You could mention certain forensic psychological risk assessment tools, such as the PCL-R and relate it to Hannibal's behaviours then contrast that to the behaviors of other characters. You could make inferences about Hannibal's childhood by using child psychology and showing how he fits certain typologies of certain killers, such as Holmes and Holmes (1998)'s four-model typology of serial killers. With this you could also address treatment regimes, both pharmacutical and psychotherapeutic. You could suggest what areas of his brain are more or less active based on research of psychopaths, then compare to other characters (if you haven't studied much on neuroscience, neurochemistry and neuropsychology then don't use this one as you may not understand the research on it).
