Getting involved with a school magazine - August 23rd 2010, 01:53 AM

Has anyone ever done this before? I am planning on it this year to get involved and meet new friends.
I just hope it won't bump in the way of work, homework, etc.

EDIT: college magazine.. or school magazine

I didn't get involved with the school magazine but I did get involve with the yearbook. All through out high school and it was really fun and I met some great people. If your creative, this is really a great thing to do. You can share your creativeness with others and bring new ideas.

It really didn't get in the way of homework. See as I was in high school and college. I was able to get done with all the work I needed to and dive deep into the yearbook.

Always remember to put your happiness first.

I was in the newspaper for my high school, it is a great way to meet people and just overall good. I had a sports section and I had to interview some people in the teams and it was fun to make the article and interview people and all involved. As for the homework it was never really an issue I focused on the newspaper on the weekends and homework on week days.

Everyone is born right-handed. Only the greatest overcome it.

I'm going to our first meeting this Thursday to give it a look and see about it.
